I chose to profile only 3 species of plants and 1 species of butterfly because I ran out of time. The three plants are: Willow, Fescue (bunchgrass), and Dutchman’s pipevine. The butterfly is pipevine swallowtail. None of these look exactly like the species I intended to portray, but that’s ok with me.
I repurpose fabric and fabric scraps, so I can’t always pick the exact color as it exists in nature, but I like the challenge anyway.
