drawings: sketchbook

I have a full-time job, and it is challenging to find the time to for my art practice. Back when my car was not so reliable, I took public transportation to travel to and from dance practice. Sometime in spring 2015 my right thumb got infected because I can be careless and stupid, and it turns out bacteria is a thing. As a result, I couldn’t use it for a while, so I started scribbling with my left hand. I discovered that it was more satisfying to draw with my non-dominant hand. I had no expectations. The results were always surprising. I became less frustrated and less judgmental with myself. It was playful again. Traveling on public transportation was a great time for me to do simple sketches, but then I got a reliable car, so there goes that practice. Now I do it when we have staff meetings at work, or when I have to attend seminars, etc. This collection is mere documentation of casual, meaningless observations, obviously not meant to showcase any actual drawings that take more than 5-10 minutes.

TLDR: I know it’s a bunch of crap, but this crap is mine.
