a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

I’m still not with it, as evidenced by this drawing on the train. Fortunately I spoke with a friend about this issue, and he assured me that it’s ok to make what I consider bad drawings, as long as I make them. So here’s to acceptance and my terrible drawing.

I have been feeling all out of sorts since the reception of the exhibit. I also realize that this is not new. I feel this way a lot after my own reception. To top it all off, I got ill with laryngitis and lost my voice a few hours after…
