a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

Another material I’m using as part of my diorama.. leaves that have been skeletonized. I usually get these in January, after enough rain has fallen and the leaves have deteriorated enough to leave behind the veins but not too deteriorated or damaged by critters and other elements that the veins…

I’m so behind in posting these. So many excuses, and here’s one of them: making dioramas. Here’s one of them I’m still making:
