a bunch of ramblings or just postings of sketches

take some vintage photos, a dash of found objects, entire family history, mull it over, worry about how it might be perceived, procrastinate some more and ta-da!

what began as an infected thumb on my dominant hand has turned me into a less frustrated artist (not better art though)

using found objects and model train figures to purge out thoughts and ideas that's been cooped up in my head for years... or a few minutes.

requires patience, perseverance, and practice.... all of which I lack. See me struggle here.

I know these do not look so appetizing– especially the way I’ve drawn them, but I swear they were. I’ve had not much time to make drawings lately. Work has been pretty busy and I’ve been staring at my own microscope at home, coming up with ideas for the new dioramas.…

So this is the weed I’m focusing on. It’s Salsola tragus, also known as Russian thistle (but that’s a misnomer because it is not even a thistle or even in that family, but it’s spiny, so it’s reminiscent of a thistle) and it’s also known as tumbleweed. Yes, it’s the tumbleweed…
